About this place
For a hearty bowl of noodles, vegetable-packed tanmen is one option. A diner who ordered tanmen with rice recalled that the restaurant was busy even around 15 and enjoyed it as a lunch. Another diner found the large noodle portion a satisfying size. Choose the larger serving when you want a substantial meal, or order the dish on its own for something lighter.
On a hot day, seasonal chilled noodles are another choice. The menu has included chilled noodles with a black vinegar and soy sauce flavour, as well as a variety described as “full of summer coolness”. One diner who tried the black vinegar and soy sauce version said the toppings came on a separate plate, making it enjoyable to add them to the noodles. Another visitor changed up the flavour partway through by adding chilli oil.
Gyoza or half a portion of fried rice can round out a noodle meal. One diner said the fried rice stood out for its aroma and texture. For a little of everything, the menu also lists a combination of 3 gyoza, half a ramen and half a portion of fried rice.
Some diners come for more than a meal: one enjoyed gyoza with beer as a snack. Small plates such as mentaiko potato salad and zha cai (seasoned mustard greens) are also available, making it easy to choose between a solo meal and a light drink with food.
